Objective

The main objective of ‘MANITHAM’ is love  and humane and to serve humanity with human concern with the belief that the core objective of an academic institution is to groom people for tomorrow, not only in the skills but also as a good human being

Events Organised by Manitham HR Cell 

  • Cricket Festival for Disabled people organized by ‘Manitham’ on world Disable Day (3.12.2009) at V.O.C.Park, Erode.
  • 14.6.2008 -  Blood Donation Camp – The main aim of this camp was “Donate Blood, Save life”.  150 units of blood was collected and donated.
  • 26.6.2008 –  Anti Drugs Day – Program was conducted for creating awareness among the public about the dangers and effects of using Tobacco, drugs and alcohol.  On that day Erode CEO, Mr. Ramraj, released a CD.  Nearly 150 Principals of the Erode Schools & Colleges were participated.
  • 12.8.2008 – World Youth Day – The main aim of the program was “Global warming and abolition of Child labour”.  A Mini marathon was conducted on that day from Perundurai and the Superintendent of Police,                                Mr. Avinashkumar, IPS., was the Chief Guest.
  • 3.12.2008 – World Disabled Persons Day – 1000 students were participated from various parts of Erode district. Various events like quiz, dance competitions were conducted and prizes were distributed.
  • 8.3.2009 – Women’s Day – Nine women specialists in the various fields ie., Advocate, Doctor etc were invited and gave inspirational lecturers among the women students of Nandha institutions.
  • 15.8.2009 – Independence Day - Swine Flu awareness program was conducted and 1000 pamphlets were distributed among the people. 
  • 15.9.2009 - World Peace Day was conducted by the Nandha Polytechnic College and a rally was conducted in Erode and 1500 Polytechnic students were participated.
  • 12.10.2009 – Food day was celebrated by the Nursing College and it was very useful for the participants.
  • 14.11.2009 – Children’s Day was celebrated in Venkateshwara Welfare Society Orphanage.  Our Chairman, Mr. Shanmugan announced that a child will be adopted from that orphanage every year and the whole expenditure (Food, education, cloth etc) for that child will be borne by the Sri Nandha Educational Trust.
  • 03.12.2009 – World Disable Person Day was celebrated by the Polytechnic College.  A cricket match was conducted at VOC stadium, Erode for the disabled persons of the 5 districts.  Kanyakumari district team won the prize.
